Telfa celebrates its fall conference in Paris

Around 80 representatives from all the firms belonging to Telfa and USLAW gathered for the Fall Conference that took place in Paris.

The meeting included reunions of several practice groups such as Corporate, Real estate, IP/IT and Labour who carry out transnational projects, where they debated on several issues relevant for the field of expertise. Telfa General Meeting was also held, as well as several industry-specific meetings and interesting lectures with the participation of some relevant French Institutions.

El recién nombrado Presidente de USLAW Network Lew Bricker intervino para aportar su visión de la recta final de las elecciones en EEUU y Richard Isham, presidente de Telfa y socio de Wedlake Bell, analizó la sentencia de la High Court sobre el Brexit. Otras conferencias sobre redes sociales para abogados y posicionamiento en directorios fueron objeto de debate.

El despacho Legalitax fue confirmado como miembro exclusivo para Italia y el despacho Vukovik & Partners fue propuesto como nuevo miembro exclusivo para Serbia. También se creó un comité de marketing que seguirá el mismo funcionamiento que los grupos de práctica, organizando frecuentes encuentros entre los miembros europeos y acciones conjuntas.

Lew Bricker, USLAW Network new Chairman, intervened to give an update on the final race for the US presidency elections, and Richard Isham, current Chairman of Telfa and a partner at Wedlake Bell law firm in London, analyzed the UK High Court’s decision on Brexit.

Conferences on social media for lawyers and directory positioning also gave fuel for debates.

Legalitax has been confirmed as Telfa new member for Italy, and the firm Vukovik & Partners was proposed as a new member firm for Serbia. A Marketing Committee has also been officially launched, that will follow the same organization as the already existing legal practice groups, who organize periodical meetings and joint actions.
