After the hearing, the court must give judgment within ten days, in the same form and with the same requirements as for an ordinary trial, this will include a possible decision as to the award of costs. In accordance with legal regulations, final submissions cannot be submitted to a trial by way of oral proceedings.
The law provides in exceptional circumstances that the decision given in some oral judgments lacks the status of res judicata. These are known as summary proceedings, in which swift and provisional protection is sought as to possession, allowing for subsequent processing of the matter, given the limitation of its object and the possibilities for procedural disagreement.
